There’s this pain and hurt you feel inside,
There’s an emptiness you try to fill,
Regardless of your search, you are still left empty and dry.
Look to your perfect father for help and heart’s fill.

To the downcast and weary ones,
There is joy and strength that will brighten up your day.
To the lonely and lost ones,
A brighter day awaits.

You won’t be here for long,
He will come for you,
’cause where you are you don’t belong,
He will come to your rescue.

He who watches over you,
Will breathe life into you again.
He who guides you,
Will lead the way.

When all hope is lost,
He’ll stir in you new hope and bring rest to your soul,
He’ll bring peace to your mind and comfort to your core,
So you can again be made whole.

Amid your rumbling storm,
He’ll be your strong tower,
He’ll be there to bring you comfort and walk you through your storm,
And through your pain, will make you stronger.
